Customize how and when AffirmID notifies you.

Notification Settings

Customize your notification experience for the right balance of security and convenience.

Notification Types

Push Authentication Requests:

  • Login approvals
  • Critical - Always recommended

Security Alerts:

  • New device logins
  • Failed authentication attempts
  • Password changes

Activity Notifications:

  • Weekly security summaries
  • Account activity reports

Configure Notifications

  1. Open AffirmID
  2. Go to SettingsNotifications
  3. Toggle each notification type on/off

Sound & Vibration

Customize alerts for authentication requests:

  • Sound - Choose from several tones
  • Vibration - Pattern for silent mode
  • Critical Alerts (iOS) - Override Do Not Disturb

Quiet Hours

Set times when non-critical notifications are silenced:

  1. Go to SettingsNotificationsQuiet Hours
  2. Toggle Enable Quiet Hours
  3. Set start and end times
  4. Choose which days apply

Note: Authentication requests always come through.

Per-Account Settings

Configure notifications per protected account:

  1. Go to the account in your list
  2. Tap the menu
  3. Select Notification Settings
  4. Customize for this account

Email Notifications

Manage email alerts at SettingsNotificationsEmail:

  • Security alerts
  • Weekly summaries
  • Product updates
  • Marketing (optional)

Troubleshooting Notifications

If you're not receiving notifications:

  1. Check device notification settings
  2. Ensure AffirmID has notification permission
  3. Check Do Not Disturb isn't active
  4. Verify internet connectivity
